How do I remove the risk icon from selected projects?

When you install Risk Register for the cloud, a Risks icon is added to the project menu:

This icon appears in all projects in your instance, and it is not currently possible to remove it from specific projects. Please note, however, that a risk register is not created for every project. Risk registers are only created when you specify (click here for more information).

Note that when you select the Risks icon in a project with no risk registers associated with it, the following screen is displayed:
