How do I get the "Assess risk" button to appear on my issue?

This page applies to Risk Register for Jira Cloud

The ellipsis menu in the top-right corner of an issue contains issue actions. The 'Assess risk' action appears as an issue action when:

  • the Risk Register app is licenced correctly; and
  • a risk assessment has not yet been added to the issue; and
  • risk management is enabled for the containing project; and
  • the issue type is not the risk issue type.

The ellipsis menu immediately below the issue Summary field contains 'quick-add' buttons. The 'Assess risk' green triangle appears as a quick-add button when:

  • the issue type is the risk issue type, or a risk assessment has been added to the issue; and
  • risk management is enabled for the entire instance or the containing project.
